This Brit says that Americans are the most generous when it comes to charity and philanthropy. Nice to hear someone say something nice about us for a change. When the asian tsunamis hit, our government was criticized for the amount of money it gave, but individual American citizens actually gave more money than the government did. One thing people need to understand about the U.S. is that our government isn't rich, Americans are rich (well some of us are, relatively speaking).
